Key Job Requirements
-
Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshooting complex issues across domestic, import, and European platforms.
-
Heavy-Duty Mechanical Work: Performing full engine rebuilds, head gasket replacements, and engine/transmission swaps.
-
Precision Maintenance: Handling the "bread and butter" of the shop, including high-quality oil changes, timing belts, cooling systems, and brake services.
-
Chassis & Alignment: Utilizing modern alignment equipment to ensure every vehicle leaves our shop driving straight and true.
-
Team Collaboration: Working alongside other technicians to solve difficult "problem cars" and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.
What We Are Looking For
-
Experience: Proven experience in a professional shop environment. You should be comfortable moving from a simple belt replacement to a 20-hour engine teardown.
-
Technical Versatility: Familiarity with both older mechanical systems (carbureted Fords/Nissans) and modern electronic systems (Smartstream engines, CVTs, and CAN bus diagnostics).
-
ASE Certification: Strongly preferred, but we value experience and a "can-do" attitude just as much.
-
Tools: Must have your own well-maintained set of tools to perform daily tasks.
-
Mindset: You are a team player who is willing to help a colleague and treat every customer’s vehicle as if it were your own.
