A/C & Heating Repair
Comfort and Climate Control
Driving shouldn't be an endurance test against the elements. At Barnett's Garage, we service every aspect of your vehicle's climate control system to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Modern HVAC systems are complex, involving high-pressure gases and precise electronics. We inspect and repair all critical components, including the compressor (the heart of the A/C), the condenser and evaporator coils, the accumulator/drier, and the expansion valve.
On the heating side, we test the blower motor for proper airflow, check blend door actuators to ensure temperature control, and flush or replace the heater core if it becomes clogged. We also utilize UV dye leak detection to find even the smallest escape of refrigerant, ensuring your system holds its charge.

Why Heating Issues Are a Red Flag
More Than Just a Cold Cabin-
While a broken air conditioner is usually just uncomfortable, a malfunction in your heating system can be a symptom of a much more serious mechanical problem. Your car's heater works by circulating hot coolant from the engine through the dashboard. If you turn on the heat and feel only cold air, it is often the first warning sign that your coolant levels are critically low or that your thermostat is stuck. Ignoring this "minor" inconvenience can lead to catastrophic engine overheating, warped cylinder heads, or a blown head gasket. If your heat fails, don't wait for the weather to warm up—bring it in immediately to protect your engine's cooling system.
